Pegasus Foundation Opens New Office
in West Palm Beach, Florida

May 2004 -- This spring, the Pegasus Foundation opened its new office in West Palm Beach, Florida. The office is co-located with the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties at 700 South Dixie Highway in downtown West Palm Beach.

Since completing their new building in 2001, the Community Foundation offered leased space to other non-profits with a shared interest in improving the communities of Palm Beach and Martin Counties. At the same time, the Pegasus Foundation was seeking to increase both its profile and its networking opportunities on Florida's East Coast.

"We were pleased to take advantage of the opportunity to share space with the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties," said Pegasus Foundation Executive Director Peter Bender. "The Pegasus Foundation's mission is all about building partnerships, so this arrangement is a good fit for us."

The Pegasus Foundation officially moved into its new office in the Community Foundation building in March, and Pegasus staff hosted a small open house later that month.

Treasure Coast Representative and Caring Fields Animal Sanctuary Manager J. Kevin Hertell staffs the new Pegasus Foundation office. His contact information is:
